St. Mark’s Sunday School is a vibrant ministry for children which has been in existence for a very long time. We give glory to God for we have a place we can teach generations about His kingdom as we lead the little souls to Jesus Christ our savior. We thank the leadership of the church for giving us the opportunity to serve, parents for entrusting us with their children and teachers for their commitment and sacrifice as volunteers to this important ministry. Our guiding Verse is exodus 2:9 Tend this child and you will receive your reward.
Firm foundation for a better future.
A strengthened Sunday school with children who know Jesus Christ as their Friend and Savior, firmly built on the word of God and able to face the challenges in life.
To lead children into a living relationship with Jesus Christ, through teaching and enabling them to grow in faith and live in its fullness.
We have two Sunday School Services (8:45am and 10:30am). In both services, children are taught in their respective age brackets beginning with toddlers aged 0-3years, children aged 4-6years,7-9 years and 10-12years.The two services run concurrently with the adult services hence parents can drop their children at Sunday school and go to their (adult) services.
We continue to thank the parents for bringing their children to church every Sunday, however we encourage consistency which has been a great challenge over time.
We also thank the teachers who come in as volunteers every Sunday and we would like to encourage more members especially men to join and volunteer in the Sunday school for a seamless learning for our children.
Many thanks to the church through the leadership of the vicar. Ven. Canon Joshua Omungo for the continued support. May God bless us all as we take care of the young Christians that God has entrusted us.
